Ten years ago, we took a leap of faith and sold everything we had in the UK to chase our dream of owning a piece of Morocco’s vibrant soul. That dream led us to the heart of Marrakech, where we discovered and lovingly renovated Riad Dar Dounia, transforming it into the tranquil haven you see today.
Morocco has always been our passion, and this passion fuels everything we do. We’ve made Marrakech our second home, spending most of our time here to ensure that every guest’s experience is truly exceptional. We are usually on hand to personally assist you, sharing our insider knowledge, favourite recommendations, and the warm hospitality that defines Moroccan culture.
Our journey wouldn’t be complete without our incredible team. Our manager, Abdou, has been with us from the very beginning, helping to shape the Riad into what it is today. All our friendly staff have also been with us long-term, offering consistency, warmth, and a personal touch that make our guests feel like family.
